Felicia holds lessons on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays at Jackson Lund Park – 3280 SE Lund Ave, Port Orchard, WA 98366
Felicia played competitive soccer for 20 years. She has been a coach for 6 years, and has coached for Issaquah, Magnolia, and Ballard soccer clubs, as well as for Arena Sports’ Lil’ Kicker program. She has coached ages 2 years to high school and loves working with kids of all ages. She is skilled in developing advanced training, but also knows how to help kids get a firm foundation of the basic skills that will set them upon the road to success.
Felicia grew up playing club soccer in Chicago and was greatly impacted by the way that female players struggled with the negative behaviors of coaches and even parents on the sidelines. This led her to being an advocate for children so that they have a positive and safe environment to thrive and grow their skills. Felicia is passionate about soccer because it is the one sports game that most mimics real life. No timeouts at the 2 minute mark, no breaks every few minutes, no phone a friend option. You must learn to think on your feet (pun intended- and those jokes come at no extra charge), and use your intuition. One of Felicia’s teams told her at the end of the year that if she had a billboard it would read, “Think for yourself because I’m not always going to be here to tell you what to do.” Felicia believes that if her students take this to heart, that it will not only prepare them to be good soccer players, but successful adults.
Felicia has a Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University College of Law and is a practicing lawyer. She also has a degree in Business from Seattle Pacific University.
Felicia is married and has 6 fur babies. She is also a professional photographer. You will always see Felicia holding either a chai tea latte or green tea. If you can’t find her around town, she is probably off traveling to a new country eating all the food she can find.
