“Behind every successful woman is a tribe of other successful women who have her back.”

Sarah started this company because she passionate about women supporting women, leadership, and the many benefits of sports – and here at Girl Boss Sports she was able to combine all three! She has been a soccer coach for 15 years now and has consistently found a lack of female coaches no matter the geographic region where she has coached. Research shows that this is not just an issue in the sport of soccer, but across most others as well! This is an area Girl Boss Sports makes a difference in through recruiting passionate female coaches and athletes and providing training and ongoing development for all Girl Boss Sports coaching staff.

Sarah has also found that every time she coach a girl’s team, she is able to connect on a deeper level with the athletes as she understands the unique experience it is to be a female athlete growing into a young woman. It is this knowledge and experience that she am excited to share with other female coaches and athletes through the reach of Girl Boss Sports. Sarah is also a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) which has given her knowledge around learning theories, child development, and mental health that have increased her skills in the coaching realm as well.

Currently, Sarah is trying out a new sport as a rookie with The Seattle Majestics Professional Tackle Football Team. Sarah is sporting #29 this season and is a Wide Receiver, Cornerback, and Kicker with the team. As a current professional athlete herself, Sarah is able to relate to the athletes she works with on a different level.

All of this combined with her 25 years of experience playing the beautiful sport of soccer have led her to where she is today – making an impact on the world by changing the life of one girl at a time.
